Established in 2007, EMS was created by merging the students and staffs of the former Flood and Sinclair Middle Schools. It has developed into a caring community blending a sound academic curriculum with a strong elective program.

Positive Behavior Support

EMS is committed to both academic and behavioral successes for all students. EMS uses a Positive Behavior Support (PBS) system where positive behavior is encouraged, recognized, and celebrated. The goal of PBS is to create an environment where positive behavior is more rewarding than problematic behavior.

EMS Students Raise $252 to Help Haiti Victims

By donating spare change for a week, the students of EMS were able to raise $252 for the victims of the Haiti earthquake. The final scores for the Copper-Silver War were: 8th Grade $50.42, 7th Grade $56.79, and 6th Grade 102.74. For raising the most money, the 6th graders are able to purchase dance tickets without any SOAR Tickets.
